Undoubtedly, a mini rottweiler comes with a lot of health issues. However, crossbreeding can mitigate some of these health problems. Some of the common health problems include cataracts, progressive retinal atrophy, and achondroplasia.

A cataract is an eye disorder often found in mini rottweilers, which can block their vision, and this can often require surgery to be treated. Progressive retinal atrophy is where the dog’s retina gets weaker as they age. This makes it difficult for them to see at night.

Lastly, achondroplasia is a disease that causes abnormal bone development in dogs. This is not common, but it can be present in mini rottweilers. Mini rottweilers can also have problems in their hip joints, which causes a limp.

Food and Diet
